This is an innovative cover mounted on a water meter. It reads the current water consumption indication and sends it to the Elias system via LPWAN communication. Thanks to this, the user has knowledge about current consumption without having to look at the meters.
The Elias system stores current and historical data of readings from the moment the device is activated. This gives you control over water consumption and fees.
All data is presented on the website platform available in a web browser.

What is a Walter 3 device?
The Walter 3 device is an overlay for a water meter. The device is designed to read the current consumption on mechanical water meters.The device is equipped with a radio communication system using LPWAN technology, which allows data to be transferred directly to the Elias system.
Is the device universal and fits any water meter?
Currently, we sell a reader adapted to Apator water meters from the JS Smart+, Master+ and MWN / JS IMPERO series. If you have a different type of water meter and are interested in purchasing the Walter 3 reader, please contact us using the contact form.
How to install the Walter 3 device on a water meter?
In order to install the device on a water meter, read and write down the water meter serial number and the current water meter reading. Current consumption data will be necessary to activate the device via the mobile application. Check whether the mounting hooks located in the lower casing of the device match the mounting brackets located on the water meter dial. Position the device so that the water meter digits are in the reading window of the reader. Insert the upper protrusion of the lower housing of the device into the groove located in the outer upper part of the water meter dial until it stops. Latch (click) the device on the water meter by pressing its upper housing with your hand. Finally, check whether the reader is properly mounted on the water meter. All instructions regarding the installation and activation of the Walter 3 reader can be found in the user manual.
What features does the Elias system have?
The Elias system is intended to provide the user with information about the current water consumption in his household. The basic function of the application is to display the water meter reading on the date of the last connection to the reader. In the application we can also track the history of readings divided into days, weeks and months. This gives us the ability to control the current consumption both in cubic meters and in PLN (possibility to set the displayed unit m3/PLN). There is also an option to set notifications and alerts related to water consumption. The application shows us the serial number of the water meter, the name of the reader (or its serial number).
